Hi my name is Pierce and I'm the guy behind the camera! I was born in southern Utah in 1999 and lived near Zion national park until I was 10 when I moved across the country to New York. As a child I saw beautiful photos taken by talented photographers in Zion and I often thought of them while in New York. These photos and the scenery in Zion inspired me to take up photography when I was 16.
I instantly fell in love with photography and found that I had an interest in landscape and wildlife photography. The more I practiced the more I realized that landscape and wildlife photography is not just about the photos but is also spiritually healing. It is a different feeling to hike, climb, and camp in beautiful and remote destinations because it brings the human spirit back to nature. As a photographer, I strive to capture moments in known and unknown places to encourage people to value our beautiful Earth.
